Chilean Sea Bass

I decided to surprise my mom and come home to Cincinnati for my parents 30th wedding anniversary. My dad picked me up from the airport without my mom ever finding out. She was shocked and happy to see my face when I walked thru the front door that weekend. My dad made reservations for six at Jack Binion’s Steakhouse, inside the Horse Shoe casino downtown. While I typically am a steak lover, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try the chilean sea bass. I was happy with my decision. It just melted in my mouth! It was served over red tomato couscous. Everyone else at the table got steak, so I got my fix of cattle. For an appetizer, we got a round of oysters, jumbo shrimp and salads. ย The sides were some of the best I’ve had. We ordered brussels sprouts, shrimp mac n cheese and goetta mashed potatoes (goetta is a Cincinnati favorite!) I left with my belly feeling full and happy.
